The platform offers an innovative approach to social interaction by encouraging users to recognize and be recognized by others in their real-world environments.

Getting started with BZeen is straightforward. Users can begin by posting a Note about someone they observed nearby, highlighting what made that individual noteworthy. This allows BZeen to locate the person's profile and notify them that they have been “Zeen.” The individual can then acknowledge the Note with an “Ack back,” confirming their recognition.

Participants are organized into weekly groups called Hives, where they compete in friendly challenges to attain the status of Queen Bee. Rewards are based on various activities, including participation, receiving comments or “Acks,” and generating positive engagement through likes. Mutual interactions, such as Zeening and Acking, can also share points, fostering reciprocal recognition. Weekly standings within each Hive contribute to the user's overall BZeen rating, incentivizing consistent involvement to achieve top honors.

As a social networking application, BZeen facilitates community engagement by allowing users to observe their surroundings virtually. It serves those interested in people-watching and in uncovering the identities of nearby individuals, all while growing their network of contacts and friends each week.
